U.S. Army Next Generation Command and Control
NGC2 is the Army's attempt to replace dozens of separate legacy command systems with a common data layer and apps. In July 2025 Anduril won a $99.6 million prototype agreement to lead a team, including Palantir, for the 4th Infantry Division.
The prototype was exercised through the 'Ivy Sting' series, adding capabilities in short sprints. In June 2026 the Army chose Anduril to lead the NGC2 common data baseline, under an enterprise agreement reported to carry a 10-year, $20 billion ceiling.
Why it matters: NGC2 could make Lattice the backbone of how the Army shares data, the largest software role Anduril has won.
