NATO and Lattice
In July 2026 NATO awarded Anduril its first alliance contract: to deploy Lattice in a nine-month evaluation for the Enhanced Air Command and Control (eAirC2) Data Platform. Palantir and France's Athea were also selected, and NATO plans to choose one solution afterward.
The goal is a data-centric architecture for sharing air-surveillance and air-traffic information among member states without giving up national control of data.
Why it matters: winning the final selection would make Lattice part of NATO's core air-defense data infrastructure. Losing it would be a visible setback in Europe, where Anduril competes with Helsing and established European firms.
