Trae Stephens is a co-founder and executive chairman of Anduril. He became a partner at Peter Thiel's venture firm Founders Fund in 2014, focusing on government and defense technology, after working as an early employee at Palantir.
Founders Fund has backed Anduril since its start and led or co-led several of its funding rounds, including the $2.5 billion Series G in 2025.
