What does it actually do?
Ghost is a small autonomous helicopter drone that breaks down to fit in a backpack. Troops use it to look over the next hill, watch a base perimeter, or find targets, with little training. Ghost-X is the newer, more rugged version.
Technical detail
- Group 2 rotary-wing small UAS; modular, field-swappable payloads.
- Ghost-X introduced in 2023; on the Pentagon's Blue UAS cleared list since 2024.
- Integrates with Lattice for autonomy and teaming.
